請您下載 ldoce4v2_patch.zip，解壓縮之後，點選 ldoce4v2_patch_1.exe，即可自動進行更新。

更新成功之後，您的LDOCE光碟中的 發音功能 即可以正常運作，如您仍有其他安裝上的困難，請至 www.longman.com/dictionaries/support/ldoce-updated-support.html 查詢，或來電詢問。

Dear Users,

The LDOCE program was developed before QuickTime 7 was released and so it isn't compatible with that version of QuickTime. This problem occurs on both Windows and Mac OS. A patch has been created to resolve this problem for both OSs. After you finish installing the program, please follow the instructions and download the patch. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For Windows system

If you have installed Quicktime 7 and LDOCE doesn’t start or the sound and video don’t work, please download the following:

ldoce4v2_patch.zip

Extract/unzip the file and double click it
Follow the on-screen instructions
You should get a message confirming the patch has been successfully applied.

LDOCE audio and video should now work OK.
